Christmas 2013

Hello everyone!! I hope you had a very Merry Christmas! I know I did!! My mommy apologizes for the lack of blogging (she's 30 now so I think her memory might be escaping her!).

Mommy & daddy got me the game of Trouble (which I beat mommy twice in now).

I also got a Nabi (a kid's tablet), which I love! It's got games and music on it. But no e-mail, so sorry ladies- still can't get in touch with me without my mom & dad knowing. ;)

We had Christmas with Grandpa Rob, Janelle, Paige, Caleb and Jami on Christmas Eve. Paige and Caleb got me these monster trucks.

This is from the morning of Christmas. Santa brought me a dump truck, miniature monster trucks that go zooming across the floor, and a rubber band gun!

Then Christmas day was spent at Grandpa Dean's & Grandma Penney's. I got VERY spoiled: lots of new John Deere tractors, combines, pickup, trailer, etc; hot wheels track, fire truck... We had to clean out old toys so I had room for all the new ones.  But that's ok, because we're going to give them so someone that doesn't have many toys!!

This creeper as mommy called her (i.e. Auntie Chandra) was outside at grandpa & grandma's. I don't know what she was doing!!

I gave great grandpa Emter some coasters with my pictures on them- and took it upon myself to open them too!

And we had one final Christmas on Sunday with Nana and Rodney & the rest of the fam! I got this giant front loader and a scraper from Paige and Caleb! They are going to come in very handy this summer at the lake!!

Nana and Rodney got me a real cowboy belt!! I have been wanting one of these for a long time so thank you very much! I love it and now my cowboy apparel is complete!

Great grandpa and grandma Diehl got me a huge bucket of Legos- so if anyone wants to come build something with me- come on over!!

I also got a pickup and horse trailer!!

After opening all these presents- I had the urge to put on my western shirt, new belt and my boots to show everyone that I'm a real cowboy!!

Well apparently I'm REALLY slacking on the blogging. (Thank you Branden for reminding me)  :)  These to 2 pics are from Halloween. I didn't even realize I forgot to post them!! Yikes! Eli was an army man for Halloween!

Fly-in 2013

Mommy took me to the fly-in this past Saturday to see the airplanes and helicopters. I was very excited this year because I was determined to ride in an airplane. This first picture was in the big yellow airplane. It wasn't to ride in but it was pretty cool to look at.

Mommy got a picture of me in this helicopter right before they told us (and others) that we weren't supposed to be sitting in it. Oops!! 

Aaaand- me in the airplane! I was so excited- but I wasn't quite tall enough to see out the window! I still had a blast and hopefully can do it again next year!!

I'm a preschooler!!

 

 Well, Eli started preschool at the beginning of September. He was less than thrilled (if you can't tell from the pics), so we are still working on learning that it can be a fun thing. He's got 4 days under his belt, and 3 out of 4 were a cry-fest at drop off time. So this week we are trying it differently. We are stepping about 2 feet in the door- doing a quick kiss & hug and get out the door. This worked last week when I dropped him off on Thursday so cross your fingers that it works tomorrow!!

We got a half smile here!!

He knew 1 kid the first day and I think that was half the problem. This is his friend Heath from daycare. 1 other daycare kid transferred to his class so maybe that will help.

Tyce turned 2!!

We had Tyce's 2nd birthday party at Grandma & Grandpa Emter's yesterday. Here's a few pics from our day.

Well, I start preschool tomorrow- so I'm sure mommy will have some pictures of that to post at a later date! Hope everyone had a good Labor Day weekend!!
