Here is a cheesy picture of week 24....

Here are a few pictures of the progress so far in the baby's room. It has since been framed out, insulated and wired but that's about as far as it's gotten. It just needs some sheet rock now so Dane can tape & texture. Hopefully baby has a place to sleep by the time he arrives! ;) Uncle Ryan was supposed to be coming this weekend to help sheet rock but decided he needed to go fishing instead.





This is the closet- although it doesn't particularly look like it yet... It will eventually. :)

Well, I had my 24 week visit yesterday. Everything is going good. Baby's heart rate was 152 BPM- higher than it has been- but good! I am right on track with everything. I will try and post a 24 week picture of my growing (and I think getting huge) belly tomorrow!! Have a good weekend everyone!

IT'S A BOY!!!

Well, today was our 20 week visit. And baby Schaper is a boy! His heart rate was 132 BPM. He weighs 11 ounces!! The appointment went good. They said I am right where I should be for 20 weeks, so everything is going good!! Here are a few pictures from our visit!


This is a perfect shot of his leg. He sure looks stretched out and comfortable!

November 12 Visit- Plus a week 16 pic

Here is a picture at 16 weeks- which was last week. It's kind of far away but it will have to do! Jewels figured she needed to be part of the picture too!


November 12th doctor visit update: We went in and tried to hear the heartbeat- but she couldn't pick it up-- kinda scary! She said all she could hear was mine. So she had them do an ultrasound so they could see that there was a heartbeat- and there was- thank goodness! The heart rate was 134 BPM- considerably lower than last time so Dane is convinced that it's a boy for sure! :) We got lucky enough to get a couple of pictures to take home with us! This first one is a whole body shot which is kind of neat!!


This second one is kind of hard to see but you can see the face and then his or her little arms up by the face!!

That's the update for this week. We go in December 10th and get to have the official ultrasound!

Kind of a cheesy picture, I know. But I had Chandra take it in a hurry!! Maybe next time I'll actually look at the camera and maybe throw in a smile!!! :)
