Wow! Long time, no blog!!

Well, mommy says she's very sorry for slacking on blogging... She doesn't have an excuse!! :(
These first 2 pictures are from one day in June. Mommy told me to get my shoes for daycare & this is what I picked out. What?! Snow boots aren't acceptable in June?? I threw a fit so mommy let me wear them anyway. Of course she sent different shoes with me though.

These 2 pictures are of me relaxing while camping over the 4th of July. And sadly, they are the only 2 mommy took. She promises to do better next time!

I think Uncle Ryan's chair was the perfect fit!

Well, the 4th of July was farely successful... Daddy & uncle went & bought some fireworks

for me. I wasn't too impressed & liked them better from inside the patio door- so that's where me & mommy sat & watched. Maybe next year I'll like them a little better. They were too loud for me! Here is my army man from the parachute!

Since it was so hot on the 4th I got to play in my pool. It was a lot of fun!

Uncle even shared his ice cream with me to help me cool off! It was yummy!

Note from mommy: This is from July 8th when it rained so hard. The ditch was full of water & it was running through all 3 culverts in front of our house- which rarely happens.

Not the best pic- but the culverts are right behind the tree in the picture.... You can see how fast the water's rushing.

We had auntie Chandra's baby shower on the 17th. He she is with mommy & auntie Jena. I can't wait to meet my cousin! Although, I don't know how well I'm going to like sharing my grandpa Emter with him.... that might take some getting used to!!

Airport fly-in

Mommy & I went to the fly-in at the airport today with Auntie Jena. It was so fun to see all the airplanes! This big helicopter was just starting to take off when we got there so I got to see that. It was really cool- but I did get a little scared when it really took off! It was very noisy!

Me & mommy got to sit in a helicopter too! I wouldn't sit by myself though- it was a little scary! But we had a fun time watching all the airplanes fly in & out of the airport!!

Swimming!!!!

I had such a fun weekend! I got to spend most of the weekend out at the lake with grandma & grandpa Emter cuz they were camping! And I got to go on my first boat ride of the summer. Uncle Ryan took me on his boat yesterday morning for a little bit. I didn't last very long before I was bored- but it sure was fun!! I even got to fish a little bit!

I also got to finally try out the pool that auntie Chandra & Jordan bought me for my birthday. I had a blast!

I decided it would be fun to ride my dump truck around my pool!

After my bath daddy let me dress myself.... all mommy could do was laugh.... I thought I looked pretty darn good!!

I just wanted to say good luck to my cousin Branden! He moved to Alaska so I won't get to see hime for a long time!!! I hope you're having fun Branden! :)

Enjoying a little nice weather!

Well, it still hasn't been nice enough for me to try out my new pool from Auntie Chandra & Jordan so mommy has been letting me play with water in some buckets. It's the closest we're going to get for right now. Maybe next weekend will finally be nice enough!

Chandra & Jordan came over earlier today & Jordan played with me for a little bit. He brought his skateboard- which I LOVE to play on! I'll have to show you some of my sweet moves sometime!

Then we made castles in the dirt! I was "mashing" them faster than Jordan could make them! It was so much fun though! Thanks Jordan for playing with me!!

Birthday and reading!

This is how I was sleeping the other morning when mommy came in to wake me up for daycare. She thinks I look "so cute" when I'm sleeping so she thought she needed a picture... Very funny mommy!!

Well, today (Saturday) a little party was held in my honor for my 2nd birthday. It was just me, mommy, daddy, uncle Ryan, Auntie Chandra & Jordan, Grandpa Schaper and Grandma Emter. Nana, Paige & Maddy couldn't make it, auntie Jena is in Wahpeton, and Grandpa Emter was sleeping because he's working nights. So it wasn't much of a party! Hopefully next year we can do something bigger!! :) I did have a couple presents to open: a swimming pool complete with a slide, squirt guns and some clothes from Chandra & Jordan. Grandpa Schaper got me a high powered squirt gun! And gma & gpa Emter & Auntie Jena got me a John Deere pedal tractor- mommy will have to get pics of that from gma cuz she doesn't have any!

We grilled for lunch and then got to have cupcakes! They were yummy!!

And Uncle Ryan got me my own fishing pole!! I was VERY excited for that!!

I was being silly because mommy had the camera- so if any of you ever come over- just ask me to read it & you'll see just how good I am!! Mommy named all of them after I said them just in case you can't understand! (Excuse the excessive 'snow plows'- I was just being goofy!)
