Birthday and reading!

This is how I was sleeping the other morning when mommy came in to wake me up for daycare. She thinks I look "so cute" when I'm sleeping so she thought she needed a picture... Very funny mommy!!

Well, today (Saturday) a little party was held in my honor for my 2nd birthday. It was just me, mommy, daddy, uncle Ryan, Auntie Chandra & Jordan, Grandpa Schaper and Grandma Emter. Nana, Paige & Maddy couldn't make it, auntie Jena is in Wahpeton, and Grandpa Emter was sleeping because he's working nights. So it wasn't much of a party! Hopefully next year we can do something bigger!! :) I did have a couple presents to open: a swimming pool complete with a slide, squirt guns and some clothes from Chandra & Jordan. Grandpa Schaper got me a high powered squirt gun! And gma & gpa Emter & Auntie Jena got me a John Deere pedal tractor- mommy will have to get pics of that from gma cuz she doesn't have any!

We grilled for lunch and then got to have cupcakes! They were yummy!!

I really wasn't mad here- I was just teasing mommy!!

And Uncle Ryan got me my own fishing pole!! I was VERY excited for that!!

And this video is of me reading. I have a book called Trucks and can name every one in it. I was being silly because mommy had the camera- so if any of you ever come over- just ask me to read it & you'll see just how good I am!! Mommy named all of them after I said them just in case you can't understand! (Excuse the excessive 'snow plows'- I was just being goofy!)

4-wheeler rides and puddle splashing!

We've had a few nice days so I've been able to ride my 4-wheeler outside instead of in the house! It's so much fun!

I was wearing daddy's sunglasses the other night & he was teaching me to do 'thumbs up'! I'm pretty good, huh?? :)

Me, mommy & auntie Chandra dyed eggs this afternoon to take to Grandpa Schaper's tomorrow! It was pretty uneventful (I didn't even make a mess!) but I still had fun!

After we colored eggs we went outside and I rode my 4-wheeler and then got to put my rain boots on that I got from Nana (a little big yet though) and got to splash in the puddle in the driveway. That was a lot of fun!

Just some randoms

We went to our uncle Mike & auntie Janice's house in Dodge last weekend and I got to play on their tractor outside. I think I need one of my own! Uncle Mike also took me for a ride on a real tractor (mommy didn't get pictures, sorry), and we got to go feed the cows! I still talk about my tractor ride today. It was so much fun!!

Malachi, Ava, Nya & Auselyn (and their mommies), came to visit us yesterday so these next few pictures are from that. We wouldn't let mommy take a picture of all of us together though!

Circus!!!

We got to go to the circus this morning with Tony, Diane, Auselyn, Missy, Malachi & Ava! We had sooo much fun and even got an elephant ride too! Me, mommy, Tony & Auselyn rode the elephant.

Still smiling after a 2 1/2 hour circus! This next one is a video of me. My new favorite thing is to chase Jewels with my fire truck. Mommy thinks it's pretty funny so she tried to get it on video. It's kinda of blurry at times so she says sorry about that! P.S- If you listen really carefully at the end- you can hear Jewels trying to get traction on the floor as she's running away! :)

Guitar & Cowboy boots

I got a guitar from my godfather Chris & his wife Brooklyn for Christmas. I got it back in February but mommy's a little late posting pictures!! I had all the strings off of it by the end of the night!

My great auntie Becca found me some cowboy boots at a thrift store. Mommy has been tring to get a picture of me with them on but I won't wear them. I put them on long enough last night for her to quick grab her camera and take a picture for Becca. They're a little big but should fit this summer. Then grandpa and me can both wear boots at the farm!

Daddy got me to put them on the other night with my jeans but as soon as mommy got the camera I tried to escape! Better luck next time, mommy!
